Amendments

The power to make, alter, amend, or repeal the chapter bylaws is vested in the chapter membership. Proposed changes may be submitted in writing to the Chapter President-Elect (or President if that position is vacant) by any chapter committee, the AGA National Office, or by written proposal signed by 20 percent of the membership or 3 members of the chapter, whichever is less. Proposals are reviewed by the Bylaws and Procedures Committee and submitted to the membership for a vote, with a two-thirds affirmative vote of members present and voting required for approval.
